So cool!!
I saw these two bags in stores and thought how great they both were (individually). It wasn’t until later when I looked at the two images together that I realized what makes them similarly great.
They’re both covered in beautiful embellishment but the evening aspect of each bag is countered perfectly with something contrastingly sporty.
The Silver Miu Miu bag is covered in a beautiful stamp of paillettes, sequins, and crystals – but the shape of the bag itself is nothing more than a drawstring gym bag.
The Black Marni bag would make a great little box clutch on its own – but with the addition of the sporty oversized strap, it walks a perfect balance between evening and day.
Cheers to Miu Miu and Marni! It’s great to see designers designing accessories that possess that dichotomy.
