Manchester United have reportedly signed highly-rated defender Dayot Upamecano from Ligue 2 side Valenciennes.
Upamecano, who has been linked with Monaco and PSG in recent weeks, has impressed United scouts who have moved in to agree a deal.
According to reports, United will pay £340,000 for the 16-year-old, although the fee could rise to £700,000 if he progresses as expected.
A tough, strong and energetic centre back, Upamecano is tipped for a bright future – and while he begins his Old Trafford career in the youth team, he could make inroads for the first-team in the next couple of years.
